Staffordshire Care Association not for profit organisation representing over 200 independent social care providers in Staffordshire.

We provide a voice for independent social care providers in the region and represent members in discussions and negotiations with Local Authorities, the NHS, the Safeguarding Adults Board, the CQC Trade Association and more.

We aim to share information pertinent to the sector and have evolved to do this in many ways; from our weekly email newsletter to social media and our website, which we are developing to be a resource rich source of up-to-date information.

Since April, as part of the Better Security. Better Care project, we have been helping providers complete the Data Security and Protection Toolkit so that they can get their nhs.net email addresses.

Recently we provided a guide to preparing for the Covid death data publication by CQC.

SARCP is a long standing well respected association representing over 200 independent Care Providers including Care Homes and Home Care Agencies in discussions with government agencies

  • What We Do

SARCP strive to influence policy makers and successfully voice members opinions ensuring that members are given sufficient representation in the sector.  SARCP has an Executive Committee made up of eleven independent care provider proprietors/senior Managers and professional consultants. Members are given helpful advice and kept informed of changes both nationally and locally ensuring that they are aware of factors that impact the sector.

  • What Training We Offer

SARCP facilitates a range of training from 3 day manual handling course’s, refresher course’s and Bariatric course’s. Alongside this SARCP can offer fully funded distance learning course for a range of course subjects and more recently, SARCP have been successful in securing some FULLY funded Health and Social Care Diplomas and Awareness of Working in the Care Sector. SARCP also offers a full DBS checking facility and is always on hand for advice and staff training.
