Managing Director Darren Gordon has completed 23 years within the armed forces before leaving in January 2011. He is a very keen, motivated and driven director with very clear direction and not only employs ex-servicemen with a minimum of 18 years training and first aid experience in most operational theatres around the world, but also insists that they maintain their military upbringing which is to “be the best”.
This ensures the provision of the highest level of training to suit customers’ needs.
Quality procedures and post-course appraisal systems ensures that training is current, relevant and effective.
On going association with many clients is testament to their ability to provide quality training when and where it is needed.

Course Details:
This course is designed for employees who hope to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their employer by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risk (e.g. as fire wardens/marshals/stewards etc.)
The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles allows candidates to develop their basic fire safety awareness. It is particularly useful for employees who are to have a designated responsibility for workplace fire safety, for example as fire wardens or fire marshals, and provides the knowledge that will allow them to carry out duties relating to fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Understand the hazards and risk associated with the fire in the workplace
- Know how to use a range of fire controls
- Understand the importance of a prompt and safe evacuation of the workplace
- Know how to support individuals during an evacuation
- Develop knowledge and understanding of how fire spreads and the behaviour of people in the event of fire
- Understand the roles of the Fire Marshall in the workplace
